Learn to Become a Jedi Master at Lucasfilm Animation Singapore

Are you a talented and motivated computer graphics artist? You may qualify to join our JEDI MASTERS PROGRAM.

Lucasfilm Animation Singapore is now seeking talented computer graphics artists to apply for the JEDI MASTERS PROGRAM to begin training as apprentices at the company’s Singapore studio.

The JEDI MASTERS PROGRAM will be the first training program in Asia to feature world-class instructors and trainers from Lucasfilm’s California companies, including industry veterans from Industrial Light and Magic, LucasArts, and Lucasfilm Animation. All apprentices will gain real-world, hands-on experience while working on major feature films, television programs, and video games for the global market, while being trained and mentored by animation and visual effects artists from the Academy Award® winning makers of “Star Wars.”

The JEDI MASTERS PROGRAM is a paid apprentice initiative and will combine classroom-based courses, department-based mentorship, and full immersion in the production environment. Depending on the chosen career path, apprentices will quickly gain expertise in feature film and television animation production, visual effects production, or games development and production. The program will commence in early 2008. Sessions take place at our Singapore studio and will be offered to select talent from Singapore (including Singapore Permanent Resident). Apprentices who complete the program and demonstrate the appropriate talent and skill level will be eligible to be considered for positions at LAS.
