Lucasfilm Wants You!

It takes lots of talented people to make movies, animated television series and video games, and not all of those talented people are animators or artists. If you're interested in a career in digital media and have a degree and/or experience in engineering, project management, or finance this is your chance to see how those skills are put to work in the creation of a wide range of digital media.

The Strategic Attachment and Training (STRAT) Program is an initiative by the Economic Development Board (EDB) to build up key manpower capabilities in Singapore’s workforce for emerging sectors and activities, through overseas attachment and training with leading companies, such as Lucasfilm Animation Singapore.

Under this program, trainees will be sent to San Francisco for 12 months of training and attachment at Lucasfilm companies such as Lucasfilm Animation, LucasArts, and the Academy Award winning Industrial Light & Magic. The training is scheduled to commence in September 2008. Trainees will be paid an allowance for the duration of the training and will be required to serve employment in Singapore-based companies for 2 years upon completion of the training.

We are currently seeking candidates for the following positions:

• Production Management
• Game Design
• Game Engineering
• Production Systems/IT Support
• R&D Engineering for Animation
• R&D Engineering for Games
• Production Data Management
• Production Finance
• Production Information Systems Development
• Production Management for Information Systems

Lucasfilm is looking for experienced individuals and recent graduates who are passionate about starting a career in animation, visual effects or game development.

This program is open to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents of Singapore.
