CASTING NOTICE

We are a local production house, and we are making a short film “MAY” with intentions of screening at film festivals in July, seeking for talents who are interested in acting!

Synopsis

The hot air hangs thick and still, heavy with anticipation for Adam.
Then it comes -- pure strains of violin music soaring above the dense
night, bringing relief to the army boy. As if on cue, he goes to his
bedroom window where he is drawn to a sultry temptress who loves
to sing, her ageing ping-pong-crazed lover and the mysterious
violinist who captures his imagination, in an encounter as intense as
the heat of May in Singapore.

Director's Profile

Alson Ho
Alson Ho is a freelance director and editor. Until recently, he was co-founder of
Embassy Productions, directing television commercials and corporate projects,
designing motion graphics as well as conceptualizing, directing and producing
promotional trailers and broadcast programmes for television stations.
A visual arts graduate in film and television production from Griffith Universityʼs
Queensland College of Art, he has about 20 years of experience in the
production line, and has worked previously as a video editor, promo producer
and creative director at MediaCorp.
Alson has consistently won acclaim for his strong body of work, including the
Promax International Gold Award, the Broadcast Design Award Gold and the
Apollo Award. He has also made the finalist selection at the New York Festival.

EVE: Violinist
Requirements:
Female / Sweet, Pretty / 17-20 years old / About 5 feet 5

MONA: Mistress
Requirements:
Female / Must be from mainland China / Speak with a Chinese accent / Attractive / Nice to have long hair, otherwise shoulder length / Sexy, good figure, busty / Nice if can sing / About 5 feet 8

HUAT: Mona’s lover
Requirements:
Male / 60-70 years old / Slim built / About 5 feet 6
